The Benefits of Hiring a Coach.

Losing weight can be hard! Even with discipline and a plan, many can still struggle. Sometimes the first 20 pounds comes off just fine, and then you hit a plateau and you don’t know where to go from there.

Accountability

A big thing that health coaches offer is weekly accountability. It’s easier to allow yourself to slip up when you’re the only person you need to answer to. But if you’re scheduled to meet with a counselor every week, and you know they’re going to see your numbers and workouts completed, you’re more likely to say no to that dessert, or get up and go to the gym even when you’re not wanting to that day.

Guidance

Whether you know a lot about nutrition, or very little – a health coach can help you. They are educated many facets of diet, exercise, and health, and they can help decide what weekly plan is going to best for you, and how to change it if something isn’t quite working. They can guide you through weight loss plateaus, life changes, schedule changes due to social or work, and diet restrictions.

Support

There are some days when being on a “diet” is the last thing you want to be doing. A health coach is there to help motivate you; not just in times of triumph, but in times of doubt and wanting to give up. They are there to reassure you that, yes dieting can be hard and stressful, but that you can do it! You are stronger than your temptations or the limitations you put on yourself!

Knowledge

Even if weight loss isn’t what you’re after, a health coach can help you change your diet to live an overall healthier lifestyle. Health counselors are passionate about nutrition, exercise and overall health and want to help you live your best and healthiest life! Our goal for everyone is to teach how to live and a healthy and sustainable lifestyle through knowledge and education.
